I’m Huzefa Hamid. Most people out here know me as American Shikari.

I was born in Mombasa, Kenya, and moved to the United States at a young age. That journey opened up a world where I could pursue the things I loved most: hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

That passion kept growing. Today, I find my freedom in a paratrike above the coastline, beneath the water with scuba gear, on a ski slope, or out in the mountains and desert. Put me outside, and I’m in my element.

But adventure means more when it has purpose. I want to share what I love, teach respect for halal hunting, and encourage care for the land and wildlife that make these experiences possible.
